When arriving in Šalovci, take the exit from the roundabout towards the settlement Čepinci, but continue driving through Markovci and Čepinci to the border crossing with Hungary. Through Hungary continue to the settlement Števanovci / Apátistvánfalva and further to Monošter / Szentgotthárd. In Monošter park at the parking lot at the intersection of Bethlen utca, Rózsa utca and Árpádu utca streets.
Path description:
From the parking lot head to Rózsa utca street, initially walking on the sidewalk, with occasional Hungarian markings accompanying us along the path. After a few minutes, we arrive at the settlement Židova / Zsida. Continue a few more minutes along the edge of the road, then signs for the Brenner chapel direct us left onto a side road which forks immediately. Proceed slightly right and begin ascending past some houses. When the settlement ends, we quickly reach the cemetery, a few minutes further to the Brenner chapel.
Bypass the chapel on the left and continue on the gravel path. A few minutes later when the gravel path turns left, continue straight onto the trail entering the forest. Further on follow local markings at numerous junctions, red in color resembling the letter m. The path initially continues with some short ascents and descents, apart from a few clearings, running through the forest.
After a while descend more noticeably and arrive near Lake Haršaš within a few minutes of descent, where you can continue left or right, or to a suitable spot by the lake.
