Access to starting point:
A) We leave the Pomurska motorway at the Gančani exit, and then we follow the signs for Bogojina and Moravske Toplice. In Bogojina we go left and drive to Moravske Toplice, where we park on one of the several parking lots.
B) We drive to Murska Sobota, and then we follow the signs for Moravske Toplice. When we arrive in Moravske Toplice, we park on one of the parking lots in the center of the settlement.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we walk to the evangelical church in Moravske Toplice, and then we continue on the sidewalk in the direction of Dobrovnik; along the main road we walk only to the first crossroad, where past the flower shop Lanen cvet we continue left, where the markings also direct us. We continue straight to the end of the street, and then we go left towards Terme Vivat (to the right continues the marked path towards Bogojina). At the thermal baths, the road turns slightly to the right, and at the end of the settlement we continue straight. Further on, we walk on a macadam road that leads us among fields; when we reach a somewhat wider macadam road we go right (left Martjanci and Murska Sobota).
Further on, we ascend barely noticeably for some time; when we arrive in the forest, the path becomes steeper. The somewhat steeper section is short, then follows a longer gentle ascent, where we mostly ascend through the forest. Higher up the forest ends, the road becomes asphalted and brings us to the settlement Ivanovci, where we arrive at a partly marked junction.
We continue right uphill in the direction of the Pomurska mountain trail (straight Kančevci), where we ascend past a few houses, from where a nice view opens towards the chapel in Zgornji Moravci. There follows some slight descent, then we moderately ascend to a marked crossroad, where we continue slightly left. After the crossroad, we ascend a little more and reach a somewhat wider road, where we leave the marked path, which continues across the wider road onto a side road, and we continue right towards the nearby chapel, to which we ascend in a few minutes.
