Moravske Toplice - Gomba

Access to starting point:
A) We leave the Pomurska motorway at the Gančani exit, then follow the signs for Bogojina and Moravske Toplice. In Bogojina, we turn left and drive to Moravske Toplice, where we park on one of the several parking lots.
B) We drive to Murska Sobota, then follow the signs for Moravske Toplice. When we arrive in Moravske Toplice, we park on one of the parking lots in the centre of the settlement.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we walk to the evangelical church in Moravske Toplice, then continue along the sidewalk in the direction of Dobrovnik; along the main road we walk only to the first crossroads, where past the flower shop Lanen cvet we continue left, as indicated by the blazes too. We continue straight to the end of the street, then go right towards Bogojina (left Selo and Kančevci). We also continue walking on the sidewalk, but after a few minutes the signs for Bogojina direct us left, a little further on at the pedestrian crossing slightly right in the direction of the blazes. The path ahead leads us past the fire station too; we leave the sidewalk a little further ahead and continue slightly right in the direction of the Notik apartments. Further on we go past a few houses, and at the end of the settlement the blazes lead us over a small bridge onto a cart track, which continues across the field. When we reach the asphalt road we go right, a little further left onto the macadam road, from which a little further sharply right. We quickly leave the strip of forest through which we passed briefly and between fields reach the next junction, where we go right. A slight descent follows, then we go left and continue between the fields. At the next junction the signposts direct us left; when we reach the lower edge of the vineyards we go right, where we continue along the grassy cart track. When a passage opens up among the vineyards we go left and ascend more steeply along the marked path to the asphalt road, which we follow straight at the crossroads. Even when we arrive at the crossing of the priority road we continue straight and continue along the dead-end street. At the end of a few houses the road ends, but we continue in the same direction and further walk along the cart track. The signs for the Pomurska mountain trail a little further direct us right into the forest, where we descend slightly; when we reach the grassy cart track we go left. The cart track quickly takes us into the forest, where we follow the blazes, walking along a poorly visible path. Lower down we cross the stream over a small bridge, then leave the forest and ascend through the meadow beside the field to the edge of the forest, where the path turns left and continues along the cart track between the fields. When we arrive at the power line route the blaze on the pole directs us right uphill; we ascend through the meadow to the forest, where the path reappears and the blazes lead us slightly to the left.
At the Vučja Gomila bus stop we reach an asphalt road, which we follow left (straight across the road the marked path towards Bogojina continues). A few minutes of ascent follow along the increasingly scenic asphalt road and we arrive at Gomba, where there is a cemetery.
