Moravske Toplice - Gravel pit Ivanci

Access to starting point:
A) We leave the Pomurska motorway at the Gančani exit, then follow the signs for Bogojina and Moravske Toplice. In Bogojina we turn left and drive to Moravske Toplice, where a little before the end of the settlement we turn left towards Prekmurska vas Ajda (we turn left after the Mercator store, which is on the left side of the road). We park about 100 m further on a large parking lot in front of holiday cottages.
B) We drive to Murska Sobota, then follow the signs for Moravske Toplice. When we arrive in Moravske Toplice, right at the beginning of the settlement we turn right towards Prekmurska vas Ajda. We park about 100 m further on a large parking lot in front of holiday cottages.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue towards the south; the road soon turns left and temporarily turns towards the east. Soon we continue towards the south again, when the road turns left again, we go slightly right onto a narrower asphalt road which continues along the golf courses. The path further leads us past the Tešanovci gravel pit or Moravske Toplice pond, and when we arrive at the junction we go left. A little further, the European footpath E7 branches off to the right from our path (the E7 path also approaches the Ivanci gravel pit), but we continue straight to the next junction, where we go left again. For a short time we walk along a somewhat wider road, after the Oaza Grill inn we go right onto a cart track along which there are signs for the Pannonian Trail. There follows a longer walk along the cart track, passing some hunting hides; at a smaller junction we go straight in the direction of the Pannonian Trail. We follow this path, where there are mainly larger fields on the left side, to the junction near the Ivanci cemetery, where we go right (left Bogojina).
We continue along the asphalt road which leads us past the cemetery, then go left onto a cart track along which we continue all the way to the embankment by the Ivanci gravel pit. When we climb onto the embankment, a nice view of the gravel pit opens up.
