Access to starting point:
From Split, we drive along the coastal road towards Dubrovnik. Just a little after Makarska, the road branches off to the left towards Biokovo and Vrgorac. We head onto this road, which we follow to the spot where a marked road branches off sharply to the left into the park Biokovo (toll). We follow this narrow but asphalted road to the parking lot below Vošac (at the crossroad after approximately 15 km of driving, we go left).
Path description:
From the parking lot, we go on a footpath in the direction of the summit Vošac and vantage point Štrbina. The path at first descends a little through the forest and then on an unvegetated slope starts slightly ascending to a crossing. We continue right in the direction of Vošac (left - viewpoint 5 min) on the path which starts ascending a little steeper on a more and more panoramic slope. After approximately half an hour of walking, we step on a panoramic peak, from which a wonderful view opens up on Makarska.
