Access to starting point:
Highway Graz - Salzburg we leave at the Übelbach exit, and then we turn left. Further, we drive through Übelbach, and after the settlement, we pass through the underpass beneath the highway. At the crossroads, we continue straight to the settlement Neuhof, where we turn sharply right, and the road gradually turns back to the left and continues through the valley of the stream Übelbach. The asphalt ends a little further on, and we follow the road to a marked parking lot, where the described path begins.

Path description:
From the end of the parking lot, we continue on a slightly left road, by which there are signs for the mountain hut Gleinalpenschutzhaus. The path ahead gently ascends and leads us on a macadam road that runs by the stream Übelbach. Later, the road ascends a little more steeply a few times, and at the crossroads, we continue straight or follow the blazes. When we reach an altitude of approximately 1000 meters, we cross the stream Storingbach, which is a left tributary of the stream Übelbach. From here, on a marked road, we walk only to the next crossroad, from which, at an altitude of 1043 meters, we turn right onto a side road that crosses the stream Übelbach, then diagonally ascend to the stream Storingbach, which we do not cross because from the crossroad near the stream we continue sharply left. Next follows a diagonal ascent towards the left, then we turn sharply right from the next crossroad and continue ascending towards the right. During the diagonal ascent, we follow a wider road that, at an altitude of approximately 1250 meters, crosses the stream Storingbach.
On the other side of the stream, we gradually ascend to a panoramic part, from which a beautiful view opens up, then the road returns into the forest and brings us to the next crossroad, from which we continue straight, and from the following crossroad, we turn sharply left. Next follows a few minutes of diagonal view towards the left with quite beautiful views, then we turn sharply right onto a cart track that ascends diagonally above the road, then turns left and brings us to a hunting observatory, where, on a larger meadow, the footpath temporarily vanishes. Here we continue straight, and when we reach the edge of the forest, the footpath reappears, and we ascend along it to a macadam road, which we only cross. We continue on an easy-to-follow footpath that ascends diagonally towards the right, and a little further, we also cross a grazing fence. Next follows a few minutes of ascent, and we reach the saddle Kreuzsattel, where we join a marked path, which we follow to the left (straight to the mountain pasture Zechneralm, right to Eiblkogel).
Next follows an ascent along a wire fence, and with every step, broader views open up, which are most beautiful on the Northern Limestone Alps. This path, which mostly ascends moderately to steeply, we follow to the grassy peak with a cross and a small cottage.
