Access to starting point:
We drive to Gederovci (from Murska Sobota or Radenci), then we continue driving towards Kuzma. After Cankova, we drive through the settlement Ropoča, then we arrive in Pertoča, where at the bus stop, which is located near the crossroads from which the road branches off to the left towards Fikšinci, the described path begins. There are no designated parking spaces at the starting point.
Path description:
From the spot where we have parked or from the bus stop, we walk to the crossroad, from which we turn onto the side road towards Fikšinci; at the crossroad there are also signs for the hairdresser salon Frizeraj. Further on, we begin to ascend gradually, and the path leads us past a bench and a cross. When higher up we arrive at the settlement of several houses, we go right in the direction of the church of St. Helena (straight Fikšinci). There follows a somewhat steeper ascent past the cemetery, and we arrive at the church of St. Helena, which is located on top of a smaller hill.
From the church, we return to the last crossroad, from where we continue towards Fikšinci.
The path ahead leads us past the firefighters' home and the villagers of Večeslavci, and when Pertoča ends, from the crossroad we continue right towards Fikšinci (left Ropoča). A little further on, we arrive at
a cross, where we can continue left along the road or straight onto the cart track that ascends over the 358 m high hill. On the other side of the hill, the paths join, and we continue along the road, which leads us past a few more houses, where from the nearby crossroad we go left. When Večeslavci end, we cross a strip of forest and begin to descend. When we leave the forest, a nice view already opens towards the church of Marija Snežna. There follows some more descent, then we ascend to the settlement Fikšinci, where we go right (left Gerlinci).
From the crossroad, it takes just one more minute of walking, and we arrive at the church of Marija Snežna in Fikšinci.
