Plajberški graben / Bleiberger Graben - Singerberg / Žingarica

Access to starting point:
Via the Ljubelj border crossing we drive into Austria, at the pass Mali Ljubelj we continue left towards the valley Poden / Bodental. There follows some more ascent, then we arrive at the settlement Slovenji Plajberk / Windisch Bleiberg, a little after the mentioned settlement the road turns left. In the middle of the turn to the left we continue right on a side road in the direction of the settlement Strugarje / Strugarjach. Further on, we drive through Plajberški graben - Bleiberger Graben, and we follow the road to an intersection, where at an interesting sign the road branches off to the right in the direction of the saddle Vranjica / Orienzasattel and the hill Psinski vrh / Sinacher Gupf. We park at a suitable place near the intersection.

Route description:
From the starting point we continue on the right road in the direction of Psinski vrh / Sinacher Gupf and saddle Vranjica / Orienzasattel (straight Strugarje / Strugarjach). At first we walk on a gentle road which leads us past individual homesteads, then after the homestead Vranjšnjak / Oreinschnak the asphalt ends, and the path leads along the edge of the pasture. Higher the road enters dense forest and in a moderate ascent brings us to a junction on saddle Vranjica, where at the first junction we continue slightly right in the direction of Žingarica / Singerberg (left Psinski vrh), and at the second junction only a few dozen steps distant again right in the same direction (straight Št. Janž v Rožu / St. Johan im Rosental and Bistrica v Rožu / Feistritz im Rosental).
Next follows a traverse ascent towards the left, where we ascend the slopes of peak Rabenberg, at junctions following the wider or marked road. Higher, on the section named Velika ravna the road temporarily flattens, then ascends transversely to saddle Albink, where there is a marked junction.
We continue on the left road in the direction of Žingarica / Singerberg (straight we can descend to Slovenji Plajberk, right leads an unmarked road to Rabenberg), which begins to ascend transversely towards the left, during the ascent a nice view opens towards the north. When we again reach the ridge of Žingarica / Singerberg we arrive at a nice viewpoint, where there stands a larger cross and beside it a logbook box with a logbook.
After the cross follows a slight descent, after the paragliding take-off site the road again begins to ascend and splits at the edge of the forest.
We continue on the marked slightly left road, which through a strip of forest again brings us to the panoramic ridge, when we return to the forest we soon reach a junction, where from the right joins the direct path from Slovenji Plajberk.
We continue left into the forest on a marked footpath, which ascends to elevation 1556. From the mentioned elevation follows some descent, when we reach the road we go straight, further towards the east. Here the road passes to the southern slopes of the mountain, and we leave it at the section where the marked path turns slightly left from it. Next follows an ascent on a ridge path, and with occasional views we walk all the way to the cross on the top of Žingarica / Singerberg.
