From Bovec, we drive towards the border crossing Predel. A good kilometer before the border crossing, we turn onto the road that leads to the saddle below Mangart. After two kilometers we come to the turn-off for the mountain pasture, where we can park.
Path description:
From the mountain pasture, we continue towards the Stožje landslide, which we cross. When we come to the spruce forest, a narrow path appears, which is used by the local sheep. After approximately half an hour of walking through the forest, a view opens up into the rocky world. For some time we go along the torrent bed, then we turn left onto the scree. At the top of the scree we turn left into the gully, where a little more caution is needed when climbing since there are no fixed protections. From the top of the gully only a ridge crossing separates us and we reach the goal with a little descent.
