Planina pod Golico - Na pečeh at Črni Vrh

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Lipce (Jesenice east) and we drive to Jesenice, where at the health center signs for Planina pod Golico point us to the right, on an ascending road. This after three kilometers of driving past the settlement Prihodi brings us in the mentioned village. Through Planina pod Golico we drive straight on the main road, past the fire station, whereupon we notice monument on the right and abandoned catering facility (Belcijan or mountain hut Dom pod Golico) on the left. We park nearby.

Path description:
From the starting point on the road we return to a smaller crossroad with a cross, where we go left (right church), uphill on an asphalt road. After the right turn we follow the sign Črni vrh, and we turn left. The road uphill at first leads straight past the house and some holiday cottages, a little higher, when at the crossing we choose right and loses an asphalt pavement, it turns right towards the southwest. After the steeper ascent on concrete grounding we find ourselves at the crossing named Triglavček, where we turn left and we continue uphill in the direction of Smučarski dom Črni Vrh, Španov Vrh. Higher, the path brings us at first near the ski slope, which further we cross, and a little higher behind sharper left turn macadam path flattens. After few steps of additional walking on the left we notice a cart track which runs in the forest. By the right side of beginning of this cart track is located another, older cart track which from the first branches off and goes slightly right uphill, through the forest. We step on the footpath which runs by the right side of this cart track, and we continue uphill towards the east. A little higher, where from the left joins one of the cart tracks we continue slightly right, whereupon the path for a short time flattens. On this part, where the cart track splits we continue straight, slightly uphill and at the same time we overlook a smaller left turn-off of the cart track. Further, the path which is moderately ascending at first is slowly turn off left, and higher brings us on a wide forest ridge, where there is a crossing. Here the path flattens, and we turn left, and we continue towards the northwest. After a short gentle part the cart track ends and we continue slightly right uphill towards the right edge of wide ridge on which we walk. By the edge we run into salt lick and we also see a footpath which is further vanishing. After few steps of additional walking, where we have to go only slightly left, we descend a little and ascend, after this we continue by more and more sharp and partly rocky edge all the way to the destination Na pečeh. Here a breathtaking view opens up on Karawanks, Julian Alps and Planina pod Golico.
