Planina pri Sevnici - Sveti Križ (above Planina pri Sevnici)

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Sevnica (to here from Radeče, Mokronog or Krško), and then we go on the road in the direction of Planina pri Sevnici. When we get to the Petrol gas station, which is located right next to Planina pri Sevnici, we turn right in the direction of the company Montpreis and immediately after the crossroad we park on a larger asphalt parking lot by the cemetery.
B) We drive to Šentjur (to here from Celje, Štajerska highway exit Dramlje or Šmarje pri Jelšah), and then we follow the signs for Kozje and Planina pri Sevnici. At the end of Šentjur we go right in the direction of Planina pri Sevnici (slightly left - Kozje and Podsreda). Further on we mostly ascend, when the road flattens and we notice the Petrol gas station on the right side, which is located right next to Planina pri Sevnici, and we go left in the direction of the company Montpreis and then immediately after the crossroad we park on a parking lot by the cemetery.

Path description:
From the parking lot at the cemetery we go on an ascending asphalt road, on which we quickly get to the company Montpreis, where we notice the first signs for Sveti Križ. We go right (left - access on the road), where we go by the company, and then on a narrower asphalt road we get to a smaller crossroad, by which there is a religious symbol.
Here we continue left (straight - a little longer path which leads through the fairy-tale forest), and a little ahead at the last house by the asphalt road we go right on a cart track. The cart track soon splits, and we choose the slightly left path, which on the right side bypasses an abandoned house, and behind it we quickly get to the foot of the Stations of the Cross, where from the right joins the already mentioned path through the fairy-tale forest.
We continue by the Stations of the Cross, and from every hairpin turn a nicer view opens up. Higher, the path turns left and on a grassy slope we quickly ascend to the church of Sv. Križ, which is situated on a 730 m high hill.
