Planina Zajavornik - Debeli vrh above Lipanca

Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Jesenice highway, we take the Lesce exit and follow the road towards Bled, where at the traffic-light crossroads the signs for Pokljuka direct us to the right. We follow this road, which in the lower part runs through some villages and later starts to ascend more steeply, to Mrzli Studenec (mountain pasture located more than 50 meters behind the crossroads where the road to Bohinj branches off to the left downhill). In the middle of the mentioned mountain pasture, a road branches off to the right from the main road leading to Medvedova konta, the monument Pri Rupah and mountain pasture Zajavornik. Here we turn right and in the following crossroads we follow the road in the direction of mountain pasture Zajavornik. The road then brings us to the parking lot near mountain pasture Zajavornik.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we head to the footpath in the direction of Blejska koča. The path, which initially ascends gently through the spruce forest, a little higher crosses a forest road, after which the path from the NOB monument (Pri Rupah) soon joins us from the left side. The fairly wide path, which all the time runs embraced by spruce forests, higher brings us to the next junction, where we continue left in the direction of Lipanca (right Medvedova konta). We continue the ascent on a very wide cart track, which in a gentle ascent in a few minutes brings us to the grazing area of mountain pasture Lipanca. Here the path turns right and leads us in a moderate ascent along the right lower edge of the mentioned mountain pasture. There follows a crossing of a grassy slope and the path, which brings us back into the forest, makes a sharp right turn at the NOB memorial plaque, after which we reach the shepherd's cottage and mountain hut on mountain pasture Lipanca.
From the hut we continue left in the direction of Viševnik and Mrežce on the path, from which soon to the left downhill the path to Rudno polje branches off. We continue straight and the moderately steep path after a short ascent brings us to the next junction, where we continue in the direction of Viševnik (right steep path to Mrežce). The path then in a gentle descent crosses an avalanche-prone area in unfavorable conditions and on the other side starts to ascend slightly. The path ascends through increasingly sparse forest and soon brings us to the junction below the summit of Mrežce.
We continue left (right Mrežce 15 minutes) on the path which crosses the southern slopes of the less known peak (Vrh Razora), after which we come to the next somewhat less noticeable junction.
We continue slightly right in the direction of Debeli vrh (slightly left Viševnik) on a path that is in places somewhat harder to follow but marked. After a short ascent across a grassy slope surrounded by dwarf pines we reach the summit, from which a beautiful view opens up.
