Planinski dom Goška Ravan - Ribenska planina

Access to starting point:
A) From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice, take the exit Naklo, Podtabor or Brezje, then continue driving in the direction of Kropa. At the intersection where the road continues straight towards Kropa, turn right and further drive through Kamna Gorica. Further, drive along the Lipniška Valley for some time, then turn left in the direction of Spodnja Lipnica and the hunting lodge Lovska koča na Taležu. After the hamlet Kolnica, the road becomes macadam and starts ascending; at the crossroads, follow it in the direction of Goška Ravan, where park on the parking lot near the mountain hut.
B) From the highway Jesenice - Ljubljana, take the exit Lesce or Radovljica, then continue driving in the direction of Radovljica and later the villages Lancovo, Lipnica and Kamna Gorica. Further, the road over a bridge crosses the Sava River and on the other side gradually starts ascending. The road ahead leads through Lancovo, then descend into the Lipniška Valley, where soon turn right into Spodnja Lipnica, from where continue driving towards Talež. After the hamlet Kolnica, the road becomes macadam and starts ascending; at the crossroads, follow it in the direction of Goška Ravan, where park on the parking lot near the mountain hut.

Path description:
From the parking lot near the mountain hut on Goška Ravan we first walk to the mountain hut, and behind it we descend to a macadam road which we follow to the left (right we would return to the road on which we came). The path ahead crosses a grazing fence, and only a little after that the path splits.
We continue right and on a cart track we start ascending diagonally, and during the ascent when we look back, beautiful views are opening up. When the cart track flattens, we continue on the right path to which also a signpost for Ribenska planina points, and gradually we start ascending steeper. Higher, the cart track flattens and it brings us to a macadam road which we only cross and we continue on a cart track in the direction of Ribenska planina (left on the road we can return to Goška Ravan, straight - the road which continues towards the western part of Jelovica, right - a road or cart track which brings us on the eastern edge of the mountain pasture Grofova planina).
A wide cart track at first leads parallel with the road, and then it gradually starts lightly descending towards Ribenska planina, which we reach after a few minutes of additional walking.
