Podkorita - Grmečica waterfall

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Lesce, and then we continue driving towards Bled and Bohinjska Bistrica. When we get to municipality Bohinj, we slowly need to pay attention to the left turn-off. Just before the main road crosses a bridge through river Sava Bohinjka, we continue slightly left on a macadam road which continues parallel with the river. From the main road, we drive on a macadam road for 2100 meters and then we park on an appropriate place by the road.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on a macadam road, and it already in the very beginning leads through two successive streams and a smaller wooden cottage, which we notice on the left side. Only a little further, or immediately after a smaller bridge, we get to a smaller crossroad, where a short road branches off to the left towards the nearby bee house, and to the right the road towards the nearby ample meadow. At the mentioned crossroad, we continue straight, and we follow a relatively gentle road to the blast furnace of St. Ema.
Here the path towards Nemški Rovt branches off to the left, and we continue straight and we follow the road to footbridge over the river Sava Bohinjka. At the footbridge, we short time continue straight (right over the footbridge - Nomenj), still on the road, and then it changes into a pleasant forest path which continues through the forest. For some time we still walk along Sava Bohinjka, and then we get to a confluence of the rivers Grmečica and the already mentioned river. We continue through the forest, and a still gentle path quickly brings us to the waterfall Grmečica.
