Polhov Gradec (Božna) - Mala Grmada (via Sveta Uršula)

Access to starting point:
From Horjul or Dobrova we drive to Polhov Gradec, and then we continue driving towards Črni Vrh. Just at the spot where we notice the sign for the end of Polhov Gradec, we continue right in the direction of Mačkov graben and the church of St. Uršula. Just a little after the crossroads we park at a suitable place beside the road.

Path description:
From the starting point we continue on the asphalt road, which soon brings us to a crossroad, where we continue right in the direction of Setnica (straight Mačkov graben). We continue the ascent on a somewhat steeper road, which after a few minutes of walking brings us to the spot where we leave the road. The blazes direct us slightly left onto a footpath, which starts to ascend more steeply through the forest. After a few more minutes of walking, we step out of the forest and the path brings us to the open-door farm Pri Mehačku.
Before the farm tourism we continue right on the marked path, which leads us past a few more houses; then, when the houses end, we arrive at a junction where the path to Grmada continues right, while we go slightly left towards the church of St. Uršula. We continue on a wide, gentle, and panoramic cart track, along which we reach the little church in a few minutes; it stands in the middle of a pleasant meadow.
Behind the church we continue on a gentle path that proceeds along a small valley and crosses a pleasant meadow. On the other side of the expansive meadow the path gradually moves onto the slope and begins to ascend ever more steeply. After about 15 minutes of panoramic ascent we reach the ridge of Mala Grmada, where we rejoin the marked path.
We continue left on the path, which right after the junction takes us to the summit of Mala Grmada.
