Preval Hlevišče - Koprivnik (via Brdo)

Access to starting point:
We drive to Poljane nad Škofjo Loko, and there from a traffic light crossroad, we continue in the direction of the settlement Javorje. When we get to Javorje, from the crossroad after the inn Gostilna Blegoš, we continue left towards Blegoš and Stari vrh, and at the next crossroads we follow the signs for Blegoš. When we get to the saddle Hleviše, which we recognize by the road which branches off to the left towards the church of the Assumption of Mary on Gora, we park on an appropriate place by the crossroad.

Path description:
From the starting point, we go on the road which from the saddle branches off towards the northeast and starts ascending. We quickly get to a smaller crossroad, where we go left and then in two hairpin turns we ascend to the near homestead, which we bypass on the right side, where we go on a cart track. When the cart track a little higher turns left, we go straight on a grassy cart track, and a little higher we join a wider cart track which brings us out of the forest on a panoramic meadow, from which a nice view opens up on Mladi and Stari vrh. Higher, we go also past the hunting observatory, and then we join the path which starts at POŠ Javorje, and we continue straight into the forest, where the path splits.
Slightly to the left continues the path Med gorami and the path on Koprivnik, and a little to the right leads the path on Mladi vrh.
We continue slightly left and we continue on a worse macadam road which for some time continues without large changes in altitude. A little further, we continue slightly left, and when the road starts ascending, at the marked crossing we continue on the road in the direction of Koprivnik (left path Med gorami). After the crossing, the road turns right and then it ascends diagonally on a saddle Brdo, where there is a marked crossing.
We continue on the left road in the direction of Koprivnik (straight - the road on which we can descend into the valley Selška dolina or we get to Zapreval, right on a marked path - Mladi vrh), and we walk there to the spot, where signs for Koprivnik point us to the right on a footpath which starts ascending through the forest. The path ahead leads us on cart tracks, where at the crossings we follow the blazes, and higher from few clearings a nice view opens up on neighbouring Mladi vrh. For some time we still walk on a relatively well-marked cart track, and then it changes into a footpath which through the last meadow brings us into the forest and a little further also to the top of Koprivnik.
