Preval Prosca - Ključ

Access to starting point:
From Dobrova we drive towards Horjul or vice versa. When we come to the village Zaklanec we turn right (from the direction of Dobrova) in the direction of Polhov Gradec. We follow the ascending road to a smaller saddle, where beside the road we notice mountain signposts and next to them a parking lot.
We can also get here from Polhov Gradec.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we head onto the path in the direction of Ključ, which at the beginning is a little harder to find because the mountain marker for Ključ is located approximately 15m away from the parking lot. The path then goes into the forest, where it moderately ascends on a cart track which after the rain is quite muddy. The path, which runs on and beside the cart track, has quite a few junctions but the path is well marked so that we cannot go astray. After approximately half an hour of moderate ascent, the path brings us to the forepeak of Ključ (Kladnik) from which the path starts to descend gently. During the approximately 15-minute-long easy descent, the path from the village Podolnica joins us from the right side. The path then again starts to ascend moderately and after a further 15 minutes of walking brings us to the forest-covered peak of Ključ on which we notice a logbook box.
