Prevalje - Koča na Naravskih ledinah (via Godec)

Access to starting point:
From Mežica, border crossing Holmec or Ravne na Koroškem, we drive to Prevalje, where between the stores Hofer and Eurospin, at the inn Gostilna Brančurnik, we turn onto a side road which continues towards the south. At the spot where we leave the main road, there are signposts for Uršlja gora, and we park only a little further on a larger macadam parking lot.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on the asphalt road in the direction of Uršlja gora. At first we walk along the Barbarski potok, and at the crossroads we follow the signs for Uršlja gora. Higher up, a nice view opens up on Uršlja gora and Hom, and when looking back also on Peca. In the middle of the village Podkraj, at the sign, the path turns right and continues on the macadam road. From the macadam road, we soon go slightly left onto a marked footpath which continues through the forest. While walking through the forest, the path leads us past Krištanov križ, and then we return to the road, which at the crossroads we follow in the direction of Uršlja gora.
Higher, the path from Ravne na Koroškem joins from the left. We continue to follow the signs for Uršlja gora and Naravske ledine. After the homestead Savinc, on the part where the road crosses two successive streams, the path splits.
We continue on the right path in the direction of Naravske ledine past Godec (further on the road Uršlja gora and Naravske ledine). The path continues on a cart track, which runs along the stream. A little further, we cross the stream and continue sharply right, and diagonally ascend on the cart track to the macadam road. When we reach the road, we continue sharply left (right homestead Ljubenc), then along the road we arrive at a larger meadow located below the summit of Hom. Here the road turns left and returns into the forest. There follows a few minutes of ascent on the road, then we arrive at a crossroads, where we continue on the marked path that runs between the left and right roads. A little further, we step out of the forest, then walk to the farm Godec, where we step onto the road. We continue on the road for a short time, then go slightly right onto the footpath in the direction of Naravske ledine. The path continues on the slopes of Godčev vrh (1153 m), then a descent follows to the macadam road, where we join the path from Mežica. We only cross the mentioned road and continue through the forest for a short time, then the path leads us along the lower part of the meadow, where we join the path from Žerjav.
From the junction, we continue along the right edge of the meadow, then after 5 minutes of moderate ascent we walk to Koča na Naravskih ledinah.
