Prezid (at Gračac) - Planinsko zavetišče Crnopac

Access to starting point:
a) Leave motorway A1 at Sveti Rok exit. Continue towards Gračac. There continue right towards Obrovac. The road climbs more steeply; when it levels out, watch for asphalt turnoff straight ahead. Park at the intersection or slightly before along the road.
b) Leave motorway A1 at Maslenica exit. Continue towards Obrovac and later Gračac. Road crosses overgrown slopes of South Velebit. After the tunnel, watch for asphalt turnoff right. Park at the intersection or a few metres further along the road.

Path description:
From starting point continue towards Crnopac. Path climbs through meadows past pond. After 15 minutes reach junction, continue left (right Crnopac). Path first climbs through forest and sandy terrain, then over some rocky steps to side ridge of Mali Crnopac, from where it descends and turns left, traversing up slopes of Veliki Bat and then Mali Bat. Some descents on path. When traverse ends, path steeply turns to saddle between Orlov kamen and Mali Bat. From saddle path descends slightly and traverses again to junction. Continue left (right Crnopac via Veliki Bat). Path descends and ascends around sinkholes, avoiding rocks in last part. After 10 minutes from junction, path from road joins from left and soon at bivouac with nice view of Crnopac. Sculptures of forest animals at bivouac.
