Access to starting point:
a) Leave the A1 motorway at the Sveti Rok exit. Continue towards Gračac. There continue right towards Obrovac. The road climbs more steeply, when it levels out, watch for the asphalt branch straight ahead. Park at the intersection or slightly before along the road.
b) Leave the A1 motorway at the Maslenica exit. Continue towards Obrovac and later Gračac. The road crosses overgrown slopes of Southern Velebit. After the tunnel, watch for the asphalt branch to the right. Park at the intersection or a few metres further along the road.
Route description:
From the starting point continue along the road towards Gračac to the gravel road junction on the right. Turn onto this road, a sign "Crnopac" also directs us. Ascend along the road for about 45 minutes along the slopes of Orlov kamen. Arrive at the intersection at Šimlašica, continue right onto the marked path. Alternatively continue along the road slightly right. The path ascends through the forest and reaches the road again. If taking the path, cross it only, but it is quite overgrown. After 5 minutes road and path meet again. Continue along the road past the junction to Planinsko zavetišče Crnopac. After 10 minutes reach the end of the road, where another path from Planinsko zavetišče Crnopac joins from the right. Continue straight ahead, directed by two signposts. The path first drops into a hollow, then steeply ascends the slope. Scramble over some rocky steps and reach the ridge. Viewpoint to the right of the path. The path turns left and leads over numerous small rocky steps. Arrive at the rocky forepeak of Kita Gaćešina. Lots of scree on the path. From the forepeak descend slightly to the saddle. The path veers left from the ridge and after 10 minutes reach the junction below the summit, where the path from Bilega kuka and Malega Princa joins. Continue right to the summit. Short steep ascent awaits, then over a rock step to the panoramic summit.
