Access to starting point:
From Logatec we drive towards Idrija. Just a little after the village of Kalce we will notice a road which turns left in the direction of the villages of Podkraj and Col. We turn onto this road and follow it for approximately 3 km to the sharp left turn, in the middle of which a macadam road closed to traffic branches off to the right. We park at the beginning of the mentioned macadam road.
Route description:
Between the main and side road, we will notice a marked footpath which starts descending a little towards the left. The path quickly widens into a cart track, and it gradually flattens and a little further brings us to a forest road. The road, which further slightly descends, quickly brings us to a crossroad, where we continue on the right road (follow the blazes). There follows a few minutes' walk on the mentioned road, which then brings us to the next crossroad, where we continue left. We then follow this road, which stops descending, all the way to the mountain hut.
PS. The mountain hut is permanently closed.
