Puštal (Na Dobravi) - Sveti Andrej (above Zminec)

Access to starting point:
A) From the road Medvode - Škofja Loka, at the beginning of Škofja Loka we drive in the direction of Poljanska Valley, and after the Sten Tunnel we turn right towards Puštal. A little further, we go once again right, and then we drive through Puštal, where we go above the Sten Tunnel. Only a little further, a road branches off to the right, which crosses the Hrastnica Stream. At the crossroad, where there are no arranged parking spots, the described path begins.
B) From Poljanska Valley we drive towards Škofja Loka, and then before the Sten Tunnel we turn left towards Puštal, and at the next crossroad we go right. We then drive through Puštal, where we go above the Sten Tunnel. Only a little further, a road branches off to the right, which crosses the Hrastnica Stream. At the crossroad, where there are no arranged parking spots, the described path begins.

Route description:
From the crossroad, we head right onto the road that crosses the Hrastnica Stream over a bridge. A little further, we continue slightly right, and at the hayrack we choose the slightly left road. Next follows an ascent to the last house, where we go right, and then we steeply ascend to the edge of the forest.
From the edge of the forest, where there is a cross and a bench, a nice view opens up on Škofja Loka, and the path enters the forest and continues on cart tracks and paths. Higher up, at a few junctions we follow the blazes, and the path gradually flattens and leads us past another bench and a cross. Next follows a few-minute crossing, where on the right side we bypass the 652-meter-high peak Planina, and when we step out of the forest we reach an asphalt road, on which we ascend to the church of St. Andrej.
