Radovljica - Ojstra peč (via Zjavka)

Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana–Jesenice motorway, take the Radovljica exit, then continue driving in the direction of Radovljica. At the first somewhat larger intersection, turn left into Radovljica, then soon left in the direction of Tinaraft. At the next intersection, just a few dozen meters ahead, turn right again in the direction of Tinaraft, Zbirni center Radovljica and natural educational trail Pusti grad. Further on, we drive along Savska cesta, which for most of the time gently descends, then after the underpass under the railway track it brings us to the arranged parking lot, by which there are signs for the natural educational trail Pusti grad. We park on the mentioned parking lot.

Path description:
At the end of the parking lot, where there is an information board for the natural educational trail, we continue right on a wide path, alongside which we notice signs for Fux footbridge. The path goes immediately into the forest, through which it mostly gently descends. At the junctions, we follow the wider path, or the one alongside which there are signs for the natural educational trail. Further on, the path leads us also past the paintball playground, then we descend to Fux footbridge, before which there is the company Tinaraft d.o.o.
Follows the crossing over the Sava river on Fux footbridge, then after a few steps of ascent we arrive at a pleasant bench with a view of the footbridge and Sava.
From the bench we continue straight ahead (right path along Sava, possible continuation to Šobčev bajer) and after a short ascent along the cart track we arrive at the next junction, where we continue straight ahead (right Pusti grad over Ravnica). The path ahead leads us through the forest, then at the next junction we continue slightly left in the direction of Kamna Gorica and after a few further steps we arrive at a private path, where we go around the nearby house. Behind the house the private path ends, and the path leads us across a short panoramic meadow. Further on, the path leads past the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes and also past a few information boards of the natural educational trail. After a shorter somewhat steeper ascent we arrive at a small saddle (by the saddle there is a small cross), where we continue left on an unmarked path (right Pusti grad).
Already after a few steps of ascent the path splits again, and we continue on the lower right path (along the ridge Ojstri vrh - path that bypasses Zjavka). Also at the next smaller junctions we stick to the right paths, and the moderately steep path quickly brings us to Zjavka, from which a beautiful view opens up.
On Zjavka, behind the "woodshed" we continue left, where we step onto a cart track, which temporarily descends slightly, then brings us to a smaller junction, where we continue on the right cart track. Follows walking with some shorter ascents and descents, and when we arrive at the marked junction we continue sharply left (straight along the cart track Zgornja Dobrava - 15 minutes) onto the footpath in the direction of Ojstra peč, to which we arrive in a minute of further walking.
