Access to starting point:
If you are driving from the direction of Ljubljana, as I did, before Ribnica you turn left from the main road, as the traffic signs "obrtna cona Breg" and "industrijska cona Lepovče" direct you, then you drive through this zone to the end, where the main road goes right across the former railway track (which they will rebuild) and after crossing the track you drive another approx. 200 meters to the edge of the forest, where you park.
Route description:
From the starting point just follow the blazes. There are lots of blazes, the path is very well maintained, so at this point praise to PD Ribnica. For the path from the starting point to Jamarski dom, where there is also Francetova jama, you will need 25 minutes. The path is gentle, as you ascend only 35 meters and then towards the hut you descend back 25 meters. The hut is open every day (see the photo), at the hut there is Francetova jama, which you cannot visit, as it is closed with iron gates. Supposedly it is very beautiful, but the legislation is such that the locals cannot afford to arrange it and open it to the public. At the hut you will also be greeted by an interesting four-legged friend. In the hut on the day of my visit they had stuffed squid, čevapčiči and pljeskavice as well as pancakes for dessert.
From here to Sv. Ana you have another 50 minutes of walking to the church of Sv. Ana, the mountain hut is only 100 meters away from the church. You ascend from 580 to 910 meters. In the mountain hut they do not offer hot food and I think it is open only on weekends.
From Sv. Ana there is a nice view towards the south.
From the mountain hut you can go another 15 minutes ahead and reach the cliffs of Sv. Ana, from where the view opens to the north, towards Dobrepolje and beyond.
The keeper of the mountain hut told us that people most like to go to Sv. Ana in winter. So, if you read this in winter time, I recommend a visit.

Along the route: Jamarski dom (580m), Francetova jama (580m)

Pleasant winter trip. This morning it didn't rain in this area, the path was locally a bit soggy from previous rains. Excellent views. Worth leaving foggy and rainy Ljubljana.

On November 8, 2015 we went up in wonderfully warm weather. On the crushed dry leaves it was a bit slippery . Nice family outing. Then to the Harlekin inn
