Ribnik Vonarje - Ribnik Vonarje (pot okoli ribnika)

Access to starting point:
a) From the Mestinje - Podčetrtek road, at Sodni vas we turn left towards Vonarje (from the Podčetrtek direction right), then we drive along a somewhat narrower road towards Rogaška Slatina. In the Vonarje settlement we arrive at Ribnik Vonarje, where we park in the parking lot by the pond.
b) We drive to Rogaška Slatina, from where we first follow the signs for Zagreb, later we turn right from the main road towards Brestovec and Rajnkovec, a little further we take the exit from the roundabout in the direction of the settlements Nimno and Pristavica. We continue driving along the Sotla River to Ribnik Vonarje, where we park in the parking lot by the pond.

Route description:
From the parking lot by the pond we continue along the right, eastern side of the pond, passing some kind of log cabin, then continue along the grassy path leading along the lake. At the northeastern side of the lake we turn left, after a short somewhat overgrown section we cross the northern shore of the lake, then we reach a poorer road which we follow to the left. The path ahead leads along the western shore of the lake, upon reaching the asphalt road we turn left and quickly walk to the start or end of our walking path.
