Rožna dolina - Cankarjev vrh (Rožnik) (by road)

Access to starting point:
From Ljubljana Zoo along Večna pot we drive towards the center of Ljubljana. We will soon get to an intersection, where Kikljeva ulica branches off to the left slightly upwards. We go on the mentioned road, which past the inn brings us to the Rožnik riding club. We park a little further on a somewhat larger parking lot by the road (parking in front of the restaurant is allowed only for guests).

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on a macadam road which already after a few meters brings us to the information board, which marks the landscape park Tivoli, Rožnik and Šišenski hrib. At the sign, the road turns to the left and starts ascending more steeply. After approximately 15 minutes of ascent the road flattens and brings us to the edge of the forest. Here we leave the road and continue right on a wide footpath, on which in a few dozen strides of ascent we ascend to the church on Rožnik. From the church in a few steps we descend also to the inn on Rožnik.
