Access to starting point:
We drive to Rogaška Slatina, and then we continue driving towards Rogatec. In Rogatec at the roundabout we go to the exit "left" in the direction of Ptuj, and then we follow the signs for Donačka gora or Rudijev dom. After a few kilometers of ascent we get to the mountain hut Rudijev dom, where we park on the parking lot.
Route description:
From the mountain hut Rudijev dom we continue in the direction of the peak of Donačka gora and at first we walk on a macadam road. From the road at first an easier path branches off to the right to Donačka gora, and we continue on the road to the left hairpin turn, where we leave the road and continue straight and further we walk on a cart track which crosses the northern slopes of Donačka gora. Next follows a shorter diagonal ascent and we ascend to an indistinct saddle by Joški vrh, where we leave the marked path. Here we go left and in two minutes we get to the indistinct Joški vrh.
