Access to starting point:
We drive towards Omiš, a little before the town there is a village Ruskamen. By the main road at the signposts for Sveti Vid and Lokva Rogoznica there is a parking lot, where we park.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we go in the direction of Sveti Vid and Lokva Rogoznica. An asphalt road starts ascending steeply. After approximately half an hour of ascent on the road, we get to the church in Lokva Rogoznica. There we continue left in the direction of Sveti Vid. The path ahead leads us for a few minutes through the forest, then we come to the road again. We continue on a marked path, where higher up we get to the next sign for Sveti Vid. We start ascending on a well-maintained (in some parts also dangerous for slipping) path. After several turns and a little less than one hour of moderate walking, the path brings us to the church of Sveti Vid.

Nice views of Hvar and from the summit also north to the Cetina river canyon area. From Sv. Vid you can walk another cca. 5 minutes along the ridge towards Ohiš, to the ridge top (Ložišče) 652m.
At the tavern in Loka Rogoznica there is ample parking space. The first half hour of asphalt doesn't offer special pleasures. From there the path to the summit is almost entirely in shade in summer until around 8am.
