We drive to Sevnica, where we park in one of the parking lots in town. Best in the organized parking lot by the roundabout of Šmarska cesta, Planinska cesta, and Kvedrova cesta.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we first carefully cross the road, then bypass Pizzerija Rondo on the right side. Here at the groove, we already notice the first signs for Lisca, and we continue walking on the sidewalk along road Planinska cesta. The sidewalk on the left side of the road ends quickly, and we go a few dozen meters ahead left onto the path, marked with signs for Lisca via Zajčja Gora. Here, we continue between two houses, then ascend along a narrower footpath to the road Pot na Zajčjo Goro. Next, we encounter a few smaller crossroads, following the sparse blazes in this section, and at the crossroads, we keep fairly straight. In the upper part of the town, we walk along street Bohorska ulica, then go right along the forest edge onto street Krulejeva ulica, marked with signs for Zajčja Gora and Ledina.
Just a few steps further, we leave the road to the left onto a footpath that ascends through the forest, and a few minutes higher, we return to the asphalt road. Next, we walk along the asphalt road, which leads past a few houses, following the fairly scenic road at several crossroads in the direction of the blazes.
Before the road returns to the forest, a nice view opens up towards Lisca; through the forest, we descend slightly for a while, and from the crossroad by the recycling spot, we go slightly right towards Ledina (left Zajčja Gora).
Further, the mountain path runs slightly to the left of the road or briefly returns to it. We return to the road before a smaller saddle, where a red mountain signpost directs us to the left.
The path ahead leads us along the asphalt road towards a newer house; we don’t continue on the access road to the house but go right behind the hedge onto a footpath that brings us near the house on its lower side, bypassing the house on the left and passing into a strip of bushes. Next follows a few minutes of ascent; near the next homestead, we reach another road, descend slightly, and lower down return to the road we left earlier at the red mountain signpost.
Further, we ascend gently to moderately, with the path leading past individual houses.
From the crossroad by the chapel, we continue straight, and a little higher, a nice view opens up towards Kum. At the end of the settlement Ledina, the road returns to the forest and starts descending; the mountain path veers slightly to the left from the road but continues in its vicinity. Lower down, we return to the road, following the blazes at several successive crossroads.
After the crossroad where we join a slightly wider road starting at the Mastnak wine cellar, we start ascending again, and a few minutes later, we merge with the mountain path from the Krakovo starting point, or the Mastnak wine cellar.
We continue straight towards Lisca, and a little further from the crossroad by the chapel, we also continue straight. Behind the chapel, we go slightly right onto the access road, ascending to the nearby house, which we bypass on the left side. We continue briefly through the forest, then reach another road, along which we pass two more houses and walk to a crossroad, which we reach by an organized parking lot and a marked crossing.
Here we choose the right path, marked with signs for Lisca via Cirje, Lisca via a very demanding path, and Lisca via path Pastirčkova pot (straight across the road to Lisca past the church of St. Jošt).
Next follows some walking on the asphalt road, where we first ascend diagonally to the right, then navigate two hairpin turns, followed by another diagonal ascent to the right. At the next diagonal ascent to the right, at the end of the grassy section, we veer slightly left onto a cart track that ascends alongside a strip of bushes; by a house, which we bypass on the right, we reach another road, along which we continue diagonally to the right, arriving at a small hamlet where we return to the road we left a few minutes earlier.
Here we turn sharply left, and with beautiful views reaching as far as Gorjanci, and in good visibility even further, we arrive at the last organized parking lot along the described path (starting point Cerje, or Cirje at 640 meters above sea level).
Here we go right, and soon a steep path branches off to the left toward Lisca, leading over Skalce; about a minute further, where the asphalt ends, path Pastirčkova pot and a climbing path to Lisca also branch off to the left, but we continue straight on an unmarked macadam road, which initially offers beautiful views before passing into the forest.
Through the forest, we ascend gently to moderately in a diagonal ascent to the right, continuing straight at a few smaller crossings. When the macadam road makes a left hairpin turn, we leave it and continue straight along a cart track, which proceeds in a gentle diagonal ascent. A little further, we reach the saddle between Mala Lisca on the left and Ješivec on the right, where we return to a marked path, continuing right toward cottage Koča na Bohorju and Planina pri Sevnici (left Lisca, straight Jurklošter).
The path ahead initially leads along a gentle grassy cart track; after a hunting observatory, we go right and begin ascending more steeply along the edge of a grassy slope. We follow this steep and increasingly panoramic path all the way to the inscription box on Ješivec, with the highest point of the peak located slightly left of the path.
