Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Kamnik, and then we continue driving towards Stahovica. Before we get to Stahovica, more precisely behind the village of Godič, we leave the main road and continue driving left in the direction of Županje Njive. At the next crossroads, we continue left in the direction of Bistričica, and we follow the road to the village Klemenčevo, where we turn right over a smaller bridge towards the village Slevo (at the crossroads or at the bridge there are signs for Kamniški vrh and Krvavec). Further on, we drive on an ascending road, which then leads us through the village Slevo, and after approximately 1 km from the small bridge we arrive at a smaller quarry, next to which we can park in an appropriate place. It is more considerate to locals to park immediately behind the small bridge over Bistričica, which extends the path for us by approximately 15 minutes.
Path description:
If we've parked below at the bridge, we first walk to the quarry above the village Slevo, and from there at the junction of cart tracks we continue on the left one, to which signs for Kamniški vrh and Krvavec also direct us. Further, the cart track moderately ascends over gentle grassy meadows. After approximately 15 minutes of walking from the quarry, we arrive at the spot where a footpath from the valley also joins from the left, and we continue straight on the marked path (right: Kamniški vrh on an unmarked path).
We continue on the cart track for a short time, then the blazes leading towards Krvavec and Planina Osredek direct us left, at first even somewhat downwards. Further, the path passes onto very steep grassy slopes across which it ascends transversely (on this section in wet weather there is a very high risk of slipping, and even in dry conditions greater caution is needed). Once we cross this very steep southwestern slope, a passage over a crumbly gully awaits us (on this section the path is often destroyed and very dangerous). Behind the gully, the path goes transversely into the forest, then brings us to Planina Osredek.
