Spodnje Stranice (grobovi sto talcev) - Hunting cottage Štepih

Access to starting point:
A) We leave the Ljubljana–Maribor highway at the Celje East exit, then follow the signs for Vojnik and further to Frankolovo and Slovenske Konjice. We drive along the road to Spodnje Stranice, where, on the left side of the road next to the red hiking signposts, we will notice a parking lot where we park.
B) We leave the Maribor–Ljubljana highway at the Slovenske Konjice exit, then follow the signs for Slovenske Konjice, later to Stranice and Vojnik. From the roundabout in Stranice, we continue straight and drive to Spodnje Stranice, where, on the right side of the road next to the red hiking signposts, we will notice a parking lot where we park.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we head onto the path in the direction of Stolpnik and initially continue along the main road in the direction of Celje. Soon we will reach a smaller crossroads, where we go left onto a side road along which the blazes continue, and we continue past a few houses. Before the smaller bridge, an unmarked forest road branches off to the right, by which it is also possible to reach the hunting cottage Štepih; we continue straight on the marked road, which higher leads past the Stranice ponds and past the Rogla water filling station. Further on at a few smaller crossroads we continue straight, behind the chapel we begin to ascend somewhat more steeply. Higher we reach an asphalt road, where we join the path from Stranice, but we continue straight and past the chapel quickly arrive at the Kersnik homestead, behind which we go right onto a side road. On the other side of the homestead, the signs for Stolpnik direct us left onto a cart track, from the cart track after just a few steps we go right uphill onto the marked footpath. Further on, the blazes are more frequent, and we follow them during the ascent through the forest.
Higher, we step onto a forest road and follow it right towards the hunting cottage Štepih (straight on the Stolpnik footpath via Grofov štant). We continue the path on the macadam road, along which in approximately 15 minutes of further walking we arrive at a crossroads, where we go left, then quickly arrive at the aforementioned hunting cottage.
