St. Corona am Wechsel - Schöberlriegel

Access to starting point:
We exit the A2 motorway Graz - Vienna at the Aspang Markt exit and follow the road to the aforementioned place. When we arrive in the town, we follow the signs for the Mariensee settlement and at the end of the town go straight towards St. Corona am Wechsel. The road then begins to climb more steeply, but we follow it to the center of the St. Corona am Wechsel settlement, where we park in one of the parking lots.

Path description:
From the parking lot we walk to the church of St. Corona, then go left onto the side road, along which there are signs for Hochwechsel, Kampsteiner Schwaig, Herrgottschnitzerhütte and numerous other signs. Initially we climb past some houses, at a small cross we go right and continue following the signs for Hochwechsel. The path further crosses the ski slope track and summer toboggan run, then forks.
From the road a path branches slightly to the left leading past the Orthof guesthouse, we however follow the path signs along the forest road and continue walking on the road, from which soon to the right branches another path towards the Odenhof pension.
We continue further on the forest road which climbs moderately, higher up at some junctions we follow the signs for Kampsteiner Schwaig.
Higher up from the road we pass to a cart track, where the path leads past the "starting stone" Antrittsstein (St. Wolfgangs Fußabdruck), behind which we soon leave the forest. From here follows some more ascent through the forest, then the forest ends and across the grassy section we quickly reach the Kampsteiner Schwaig hut.
We bypass the hut on the left side and follow the signs for Hochwechsel, the path ahead first climbs easily across the grassy section surrounded by sparse forest. When the path returns to the forest we bypass the Frauenalpe summit on the right side and begin to descend towards the west. Lower down the path stops descending, but when we begin to ascend again we reach the junction at the Schwarzer Herrgot cross, from where we continue left towards Feistritzer Schwaig (straight Arabichl).
Follows approximately 15 minutes of gentle ascent to the left and the cart track path brings us to the Feistritzer Schwaig alpine pasture.
We bypass the buildings on the right side and continue walking on the level cart track, from which soon to the right branches another path towards the Arabichl summit, we continue straight and enter the forest. A few minutes further, after a short easy descent we reach the macadam road along which we begin to ascend, the path leading us along the upper edge of the forest. We follow the path crossing the slopes to the left in gentle ascent to the junction at the Dreiländereck saddle, from where we head left towards the Hochwechsel summit and Mönichkirchen settlement (here a path joins from the right leading over the Arabichl summit which is somewhat longer than ours and also the path from the Feistritzsattel pass) and begin to ascend transversely, such path brings us after a few minutes to an unmarked junction, where we continue along the slightly right unmarked path (slightly left leads the marked path to Hochwechsel), which continues through a belt of young spruce forest. A little further we go transversely right from the grassy path, so that we continue walking again among spruces, the forest begins to thin. The visible but unmarked path then brings us in a few minutes of further walking to the indistinct summit, where a larger cairn stands.
