From the direction of Ljubljana we drive on the Gorenjska motorway to the exit for Bled. Through Bled we continue towards Lake Bohinj. Immediately by the lake, at the church of St. John the Baptist, we turn right and continue in the direction of the village Stara Fužina. In the village we look for a suitable parking lot and continue on foot.
Path description:
From Stara Fužina we head in the direction of the entrance to the Voje Valley. At the very beginning of the valley is located the ancient Hudičev Most bridge, which connects the banks of the deep gorge of the Mostnica River. On the left bank there is just by the bridge a signpost for the mountain pasture Uskovnica. We continue in this direction. The forested path, partly marked with several faded blazes, ascends quite steeply for approximately 40 minutes. Immediately after exiting the forest we arrive at the grassy pastures of the Blatce mountain pasture. Already by the first houses we turn right, in the direction of the steep cart track which serves for dragging cut wood. After a few minutes of walking on the cart track, a footpath branches off sharply to the right, covered with rocky debris. We follow it and soon we arrive at a well-visible unmarked forest path, which will bring us in 10 minutes to a grassy clearing, from which an exceptional view opens up on Lake Bohinj, Stara Fužina and Spodnje Bohinjske gore. From the clearing we can continue the path further, to the very summit of Studor.
