Access to starting point:
We drive to the center of Slovenska Bistrica, where from the traffic-light-controlled intersection we turn in the direction of the health home and then continue along Partizanska cesta. This is followed by a drive through the town, where we continue straight ahead; on the edge of the town, by the industrial zone, we head onto the road towards Tinje, Sveti Trije kralji and Črno jezero. This is followed by an ascent along a somewhat narrower asphalt road, which starts to climb and initially leads us past Lovska koča pizzeria Gams, higher up we pass through the settlement Visole, a few kilometers higher we arrive at Zgornje Tinje, from where we follow the signs for the ski area Jakec - Trije kralji. We park at the parking lot at the foot of the ski area, or near the church of sv. Treh kraljev.
Route description:
From the starting point, we walk to the church of Sv. Treh kraljev and continue in the direction of Črno jezero and Urškina pot and quickly arrive at the nearby ski slope, along which we continue for a short time, then cross it (during the operation of the ski slope we cross the ski run and the lift higher - above the cableway and the ski slope). The path ahead leads past the ARSO weather station, and we continue to follow the blazes; along the connecting ski run in a few minutes we arrive at the second ski run, which we also cross (upwards by the ski slope Veliki vrh). Next follows the crossing of a lift and another ski run, then the path enters the forest, where after a few minutes of further walking we arrive at a cross, by which stands the educational board of Urškina pot. The path ahead slowly descends and brings us to a marked junction, where we choose the left path (straight Šumik and Ruška koča), where we continue in the direction of Osankarica and Črno jezero. Even further on we descend gently to moderately and follow the blazes. When the descent ends we arrive at a junction near Črno jezero.
We continue straight (left Oplotnica - path past Kos) and in a few steps we arrive at the lake.
Description and pictures refer to the condition in April 2022.
