Tinčkova koča - Pautz/Zelenjak

Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we take the exit Lesce and follow the road ahead in the direction of Žirovnica and Jesenice. After a few km of driving, we will get to a crossroad, where the road to Žirovnica and Moste branches off to the right (from the direction of Jesenice left). Only a few meters ahead in the next crossroad, we turn left to Moste (right Žirovnica). Further, we drive past a monument to fallen soldiers, where the road starts ascending a hill below the railway track. On top of the slope, we turn right (at the sign Vila Karin), we then drive towards Završniško jezero and Valvasorjev dom. The road then flattens and brings us to a crossroad, where the road towards Valvasorjev dom branches off to the left, and we continue straight on the initially still asphalted road. The road soon becomes macadam, and we follow it to a parking lot near Tinčkova koča. The road in the upper part is often in quite bad condition.

Path description:
From the parking lot at Tinčkova koča we continue on a wide rocky cart track in the direction of Koča pri izviru Završnice. Already after a few steps of walking blazes point us slightly right, on a somewhat steeper footpath which ascends over a panoramic grassy slope, and then it returns to the aforementioned cart track which we follow to the right. The cart track, which relatively steeply ascends through the forest, after a few minutes of further walking brings us to a grazing fence, behind which we come to a marked junction.
We continue straight (slightly right Roblekov dom) on the still rocky cart track which higher brings us out of the forest onto expansive grassy slopes of Smokuška planina. Here the steepness eases and the increasingly panoramic path brings us in 15 minutes of further walking to Koča pri izviru Završnice.
From the hut we continue right on a marked footpath in the direction of Zelenica. The path already after a few steps of walking brings us to the source of Završnica, behind which we step onto a pleasant meadow. Behind the mentioned meadow the path ascends somewhat more steeply and after a few minutes of further walking brings us to the foot of the western part of the ski area Zelenica. Here we leave the marked path which leads to Dom na Zelenici and continue the ascent along the ski lift, walking beside it to a smaller boulder, where we again step onto the marked path. We follow the mentioned path to the left (right Dom na Zelenici), which slightly descends and after a few minutes of further walking brings us to the end of the valley Suhega ruševja, where an unmarked path to Palec branches off to the right upwards.
We continue in the direction of Palec (straight Stol and Vrtača) on the path which ascends through a belt of forest and higher brings us below the screes of Vrtača and Palec. Here the steepness eases, and the path then leads us along the valley Suhega ruševja. Higher the path turns slightly right and ascends more steeply again. After a few minutes of further walking we arrive at the border ridge (Žleb 1916 m) from where a view opens onto the Austrian side.
We continue left (right Palec) on the path which traverses ascending over the scree below Zelenjak. After a few minutes of ascent the path brings us to the next saddle, this time on the western side of Zelenjak. From here we continue right on a poorly visible pathlet which traverses ascending the very steep summit slope of the mountain. The path on which cairns show the direction leads us along the steep slope, which is dangerous for slipping. After approximately 10 minutes of difficult terrain we step onto the panoramic summit.
