Trbovlje - Tabor

Access to starting point:
In Trbovlje we first head to the hospital, then at the roundabout by the hospital we turn uphill in the direction of the settlement Klek. After a few dozen meters we arrive at the kindergarten on the left side of the road. A little further there is a pedestrian crossing to short stairs, where the path starts through the meadow towards the forest.

Path description:
The path leads us through a meadow and through the forest, and soon brings us back to the road, which we follow for some time. Before a bigger turn, on the left side there is a steep shortcut. The shortcut brings us back to the road, and straight ahead of us is another short shortcut, which saves us the turn. We then follow the road all the way to the settlement Klek. Soon at the beginning of the settlement, on the right side of the road there is an inn, and we continue to the first smaller crossroad, where we turn right in the direction of Planinska vas. On the left side of the road we soon notice the beginning of a marked mountain path which leads to Sveta planina.
The path ahead is at the beginning steep, then becomes flatter. The path runs through the forest and is marked. The path brings us higher to a meadow, where it immediately splits into three directions. We go immediately to the left and then again to the left (straight on the path through the meadow we would continue the ascent to Sveta planina and Javor). On the right side we notice an unfinished house and a caravan. We head upwards into the forest, where on the trees along the path we find the path markings. The path is marked with some plastic signs. An easy path soon brings us to the summit, where a view of Trbovlje opens up.
On the top there is also a bench, where we can rest.
From the top the path continues past larger rocks, descending past a smaller viewpoint steeply downwards. I did not continue on this path so I do not know where it leads.
We can return to the starting point by the same path by which we came.
Alternatively we can choose the circular path, which right at the start of the descent branches off to the right and brings us to a natural cavity in the rocky wall, located directly below the summit. The path then continues through the forest. We must take care to always follow the path turn-offs that lead left, since the path is not marked. After a while we arrive at a large rock of interesting shape, on which a trail mark is painted. We go left and then follow the path always to the left. The path brings us to the road in the settlement Klek, by which we return to Trbovlje.
