Trdkova - Bogin breg

Access to starting point:
A) We drive on the road Gorenji Petrovci - Kuzma, following the road towards Kuzma to the beginning of the village Martinje (on signposts Martinje Trdkova). Here, only a few tens of meters before the beginning of the village, we notice signs for Tromejnik, which point us to the right, onto the road along which we quickly arrive in the village Trdkova. The road then moderately ascends and brings us to a crossroads, where we notice signs for Tromejnik left and right. We choose the left road, which starts to descend steeply. The road then flattens lower down and, after a few hundred meters of further driving, brings us to the next crossroads, where we continue straight towards Kuzma (right Tromejnik). There follows approximately 200 meters of driving, and beside the road we notice hiking signposts, where the described path begins. At the starting point there are no designated parking spaces.
B) We drive to Kuzma, then follow the road towards Petrovcem. Soon after Kuzma we notice signs for Trdkova, which direct us left onto a side road. In Matjaševci we go twice right, and before the beginning of the settlement Trdkova we will notice red hiking signposts on the right, where the described path begins. At the starting point there are no designated parking spaces.

Route description:
From the starting point, we head to the south side of the road, where signs for the Pomurje mountain trail direct us onto a cart track, which immediately after the field turns right and continues briefly between the forest and the field. At the nearby fork, we choose the left cart track, which enters the forest and starts to ascend steeply. Higher up, we reach an indistinct ridge, and the cart track turns into a path, which a little further on bypasses the forepeak of Zalka on the left side. Here the path turns slightly to the left and quickly brings us to the summit of Zalka, from where some view opens towards the southwest.
From Zalka we continue on the marked path, which descends to a small saddle between Zalka and Bogin breg. When the path starts to ascend gently, it forks. To the right, an initially overgrown marked path continues, leading towards Dolič and further to Kuzma, while we go straight ahead, quickly reaching a more pronounced cart track, along which we ascend to the transmitters on Bogin breg amid rare blazes.
