Tremerje - Veliki Slomnik (Tremerje - Veliki Slomnik - Liboje)

Access to starting point:
Tremerje is a settlement between Celje and Zidani Most.
a) From the direction of Celje, we turn right and near the settlement sign there are available parking spots. In the opposite direction there is a bridge over Savinja.
b) From the direction of Zidani Most or Laško, we turn left and near the settlement sign there are available parking spots.

Route description:
From the parking spot, we head towards the center of the settlement, where there is probably the most important point, the church of St. Luka. To the turn-off for Veliki Slomnik we can continue on the asphalt road, where the path is marked, or maybe turn a little lower onto a well-hardened gravel road along the fields and meadows, which rejoins before the turn-off for Veliki Slomnik. After the turn-off for Veliki Slomnik, in the forest, we follow a wider hardened forest road which ascends steeply and higher on a smaller clearing with a holiday cottage slightly higher, on the left it passes into a forest path. Soon from the right a mountain path joins, which starts at the cross at the turn-off for Košnica and a little higher at the Slomnik junction again from the right the path from Košnica joins. Further, we follow a narrower forest path, which brings us to the peak.
From the top, we continue in the direction of Libojska stena. We soon reach the viewpoint and are rewarded with an excellent view.
From Libojska stena we continue downwards in the direction of the settlement Liboje. At first the path is a little narrower and lower it passes into a wider path among dwarf pines and heath. On the right by the path, we notice a pylon of a high-voltage power line and soon after on the left by the path a wooden cross. A few meters higher we soon reach the junction. We continue right downwards towards Liboje, while straight ahead and higher the path goes to Šmohor. Downwards along the path, now a forest road, and soon on the left side there will be a homestead with a wide variety of animals. We continue downwards along the stream and at the first homesteads we reach the asphalt surface. Left and right by the path, meadows, fields, pastures... We continue a little downwards and soon reach the road junction. A chapel on the other side of the road and the end of the path. To the left we can continue to the center of the settlement Liboje.
The total length of the path is around 6000 meters, 490 positive elevation meters and 430 negative elevation meters.
