Description of mountain:
Kamčič is a wooded peak in the Posavje Hills, located north of Šmohor between Kotečnik to the left and Veliki Slomnik to the right. It is recognizable by its broad ridge when viewed from Kotečnik or Veliki Slomnik. The ridge features five less pronounced protrusions, the highest being the central one, which lies closer to the southern saddle than to the northern sheer wall. None of the protrusions offers a particularly good view, though they are best when the trees are bare. However, a magnificent panorama opens from the top of the rocky northern sheer wall—likely the source of its name. The view extends in practically all directions over the surrounding hills and valleys, with the quarry in Liboje being especially prominent as it has deeply encroached into the eastern ridge of neighboring Kotečnik.
