Trnovec - Dom na Govejku

Access to starting point:
From Medvode we drive to the village Sora, from there we continue driving in the direction of the village Topol (Katarina). Soon after the village Sora we come to the village Trnovec (rarely inhabited area), where we will notice by the road the mountain signposts for the mountain hut Dom na Govejku, Osolnik and the log cabin Osolnik (right next to the mountain signposts there is also a smaller crossroads). We park on the parking lot by the road.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we carefully cross the road and then start ascending on a macadam road in the direction of the log cabin Osolnik. After approximately ten minutes of moderate ascent, we will arrive at a marked junction, where we leave the road. The mountain signposts for the mountain hut Dom na Govejku direct us left onto a marked footpath, which further ascends along the stream Govejski graben. A little further ahead, we cross the mentioned stream, and the path ascends along a somewhat smaller right tributary of the mentioned stream. A little further still, over a smaller wooden bridge, we cross the second stream, then we start ascending a very steep little path, which higher up brings us to an unmarked junction.
We continue on the right less distinct path (the left path leads through the yard of a private house and is therefore not recommended, the blazes also led there but are now faded), along which in a few dozen steps of further walking we ascend to a gentle cart track, which we follow to the left. Just a few meters ahead, a "path" joins us from the left, which leads past the mentioned homestead, but we continue on the macadam road in the direction of the mountain hut Dom na Govejku. The road ahead starts to ascend moderately, and we follow it all the way to the mountain hut Dom na Govejku, which we reach after a few minutes of further walking.
