Access to starting point:
From Medvode we drive to the village Sora, where we go towards the village Topol (Katarina). Soon after the village Sora we come to the village Trnovec (rarely inhabited area). When we notice a macadam road and signposts next to it on the right side of the road, we park. The parking lot is on the left side of the road.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we carefully cross the road and then we start ascending on a macadam road in the direction of log cabin Osovnik.
After approximately ten minutes of walking a footpath to Govejek branches off to the left. We continue on the road which after a half an hour of walking brings us to a smaller hamlet. Here the road makes a left turn and after a few steps it brings us to a crossroad of two paths. We go on the right path (road) in the direction of the hunting cottage (we can also continue on the road, but then we bypass the hunting cottage). We reach it after a minute of walking from the crossroad.
We continue ahead past the cottage and the path soon brings us to the road which we left. A little further, the road brings us to a somewhat bigger crossroad. We go on the most right road in the direction of Osolnik. Further, the road brings us to the signposts for log cabin to the right, but the footpath and the road already after a few meters join. At the next signpost for log cabin we turn right on a footpath which in a few steep steps brings us to the log cabin (we can again continue on the road).
From the log cabin, we continue left on the road slightly downwards. After a few steps, we again come to the road which we left before we ascended to the log cabin. The road then brings us to the next hamlet, where the road from the village Sora joins us.
We continue left upwards to the signposts for Osolnik to the right. Then we go on a cart track on which cycling is forbidden. We follow the cart track, which ascends on a meadow, to the top on which a church stands.

On 1.1. we set off for Osolnik along the same path as described above. Shortly after the start of the path by the road, between moss and rocks, there is a nativity scene. Due to water flowing from under the moss and rocks, ice candles formed around it because of low temperatures, and ice covered the figures too. Wonderful.

To avoid the muddy paths around, yesterday afternoon's quick hike to Osolnik along the road. Lots of little flowers, beautiful nativity scenes and a panoramic summit.
