Varda - Črnokalska Varda

Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Koper highway, take the Kozina exit, then continue driving on the old road towards Koper. When a little after the settlement Petrinje the road starts descending towards Črni Kal, pay attention, because after the road sign 7.5 km turn right onto a side road, and from there after less than 200 meters left. From the mentioned crossroad, drive less than 200 meters and then park on a large asphalt parking lot.
The starting point is appropriate if coming from the direction of Kozina, because from the opposite direction it is prohibited to turn onto a side road. If coming from the direction of Črni Kal or Kastelca, then the starting point Žlebinje is more appropriate.

Route description:
On the southwest edge of the parking lot, look for an overgrown footpath, along which we first lightly descend, then, when the footpath becomes more distinct, we quickly arrive at a smaller junction. Continue slightly left (right path bypasses the peak) and in a few dozen strides ascend to the relatively panoramic peak of Varda.
