Access to starting point:
Leave the A1 motorway at the Zadar east junction and continue on the expressway to Gaženica port in Zadar. There buy a ticket for Iž island. When arriving at Bršanj on the island, go along the main road past Mali Iž to the center of Veli Iž. Park somewhere on the coast. The described path starts at the church
Path description:
From the church continue along the coast, where we notice signs for Sveti Rok, which are a bit ahead from the street. Continue straight along the street past the playground, ice cream parlour and monument. Walk on a narrow concreted road that bends and soon we arrive at an unmarked junction, where we continue right. Soon the quite faded markings reappear. The road ends and we continue on the path, which takes us to Sveti Rok church in just over three minutes, from where there is a nice view. Continue ahead on the path to the road, turn right and after 100 metres left. Continue on the gravel road another 5 minutes. When spotting the signpost "Korinjak 20 minutes", continue left, steeply ascending along the dry stone wall through a belt of low shrubbery and pine forest. The path leaves the dry stone wall and becomes gentler. After 20 minutes' walk from the road, reach the top, from where there is a nice view.
