Veli Iž - Sveti Rok (otok Iž)

Access to starting point:
Leave the A1 motorway at the Zadar east junction and continue on the expressway to the Gaženica port in Zadar. There, buy a ticket for the island of Iž. When we arrive at Bršanj on the island, go along the main road past Mali Iž to the center of Veli Iž. Park somewhere on the shore. The described trail starts at the church.

Path description:
From the church, we continue along the coast, where we notice signs for Sveti Rok, which are a bit further from the street. We continue straight along the street past the playground, pastry shop and monument. We walk along a narrow concreted road that makes a bend and soon arrive at an unmarked intersection, where we continue to the right. Soon the quite faded markings reappear. The road ends and we continue on a path that brings us to the church of Sveti Rok in a good three minutes, from where there is a nice view.
