Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Jesenice highway, we take the Lesce exit and drive towards Bled. When we arrive there, we drive straight in the direction of Bohinjska Bistrica. Past the settlement Mlino (pension Mlino), we also drive by the hotel Vila Bled on the right, then at the crossroads (road junction) we turn right (left, or straight to Bohinj). When the road through some turns descends near the lake (Njivice), we drive only a short time along the lake, after which on the left side of the road we notice a macadam road which slightly ascends. We head onto it, ignore the left turn-off to Dom muzealcev Slovenije and already after a few meters we park at a suitable place. As a starting point, we can also choose the nearby Velika Zaka, from where shortcuts bring us to our hiking path towards Ojstrica and Osojnica.
Route description:
We continue uphill on a macadam road which changes into a cart track and quickly brings us into the forest. Then, when a little higher the cart track, which is becoming more and more like a gully, ascends a bit steeper, we come to a marked turn-off to panoramic Ojstrica, which is located directly nearby on our right. We head there, and through two zigzags we ascend to the rocky peak of panoramic Ojstrica, where there is a bench. After the descent we continue in the direction marked "Velika Osojnica", on the path which we left before. This ascends a little steeper after the gentle part, and while winding changes into a gully. When the steepness eases again, we come to a junction with a bench, where we turn left (right Velika Osojnica). From here the path in a gentle ascent brings us near the edge of the north-eastern slope of the hill, where a sign directs us right, and soon after we step onto a fenced viewpoint with benches and an information board.

Along the route: Ojstrica (611m)

Discussion about the trip Velika Zaka (Bled) - Mala Osojnica (along Ojstrica)

Today we had a nice trip to Ojstrica and then to Mala Osojnica. But when we returned to the above-mentioned (recommended) parking lot, we found a fine for improper parking on the car namely 100 eur (half 50 eur)grrrr. I advise everyone heading there against parking there.

Tomorrow I plan to go to this viewpoint, so I'm interested where you can park then, if they issue fines at the mentioned parking lot?

You park further in Zaka (but you have to pay), already in Zaka a sign directs you into the forest so no need to go back on the road.

Possibly a sign prohibiting parking has been placed somewhere recently. At the time of the description's creation there wasn't one and parking was possible. At the museum house you can park if you're also a buffet guest (don't know if it's still operating).

Recently a sign has been put up and parking is prohibited.. But I saw that foreigners get a fine of 40 eur or 20.

At Bled campsite there is a parking lot where they charge 10 EUR for the whole day, hourly payment is not possible. So I parked at the railway station, where parking for the whole day is 4 EUR, and you warm up just right to the climbs towards Ojstrica.. The view from the top is super

Yes, yes, everything checks out, I've unintentionally neglected that part of the information so far. Greetings
