Visoko (Mali Kurešček) - Kurešček

Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Ig, and then we continue driving towards Kurešček. When the road to Kurešček branches off to the left from the main road, we continue straight, and then we quickly arrive at the settlement Visoko. About 200 meters ahead from the sign that marks the beginning of the settlement, on the part where the road runs through the forest, on the right side we notice trail markers for Kurešček, Krvavo Peč, Vrbica and Iški Vintgar. We park at a suitable place beside the road.
B) First, we drive to the settlement Rob (to here from the road Ljubljana - Kočevje, where at the settlement Rašica we turn towards the settlement Rob, or from Notranjska) and from there in the direction of Kurešček. Higher up, we arrive at the settlement Zapotok, where at the junction by the bus stop we continue straight, and then we drive past the ranch as well, after it we arrive at another bus stop at the hamlet Mali Kurešček. Here too we continue straight, and when the road enters the forest, on the left side we notice trail markers for Kurešček, Krvavo Peč, Vrbica and Iški Vintgar. We park at a suitable place beside the road.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue in the direction of Kurešček, on the path which on the other side of the road passes into the forest and in a few minutes ascends to a narrower asphalt road, which we only cross. We continue to the nearby water reservoir, where the marked path turns left. There follows an ascent on a somewhat overgrown path, then higher we reach an old, also partly overgrown cart track, which we follow to the left. On the part where the cart track becomes completely level, we continue right onto a footpath, which a few steps higher joins the path from the Dom na Kureščku. Here we continue right, and after a few more steps we arrive at the church on the top of Kurešček.
