Access to starting point:
To the valley of the Sopota River we can come from Dolenjska or from the Litija side, as one prefers. We went on the highway to Mirna and further towards Radeče on the Sava. From Radeče we continued towards the Sopota valley. In the hamlet Zagrad on the right towards Litija we look for the blaze for Nebeška gora. It will be even better if we ask the locals for the path.
Route description:
From the road, we turn right onto an asphalt road which soon becomes macadam. For some time we ascend steeply. The macadam passes into a wide forest road. After approximately 20 minutes on the right side we notice a holiday cottage (Zagrad 21). We continue ahead into the forest. After a good half an hour from the cottage the forest ends and we come to a meadow and then to a saddle. Here we notice the village Čimerno with a church and for the first time see Nebeška gora on the left side of the village.
In the village we continue some tens of meters on an asphalt road and then turn onto a village path, where an information board awaits us. From there to the top we have twenty minutes of relaxed walking on a well-marked path.

Discussion about the trip Dolina Sopote (Zagrad) - Nebeška gora

Such a nice name for the mountain that my friend and I had to see it live. Today was really a heavenly day given the date and again we discovered a new hidden gem of our beautiful countrynasmeh. Full praise to PD Radeče for nicely marking this nice tour. Only at the top of Nebeška gora there could also be some sign for Kum, since continuation to Kum is possible. nasmeh

It would be good to mention that at the location where you start for Nebeška gora there is no parking lot or parking space, except if you are so bold as to park in the yard. Today we intended to visit this mountain but due to parking difficulties at least in the vicinity, we didn't. Perhaps when there is no snow, one can park on the meadow, but that's not always the smartest and politest thing.

The name of the hill completely impressed my friend and me too, and yesterday we set off on the path. We expected a couple of hours of easy walking, but the path was mostly quite steep, and the time markings are not entirely accurate, as we reached the top in 1 hour and 45 minutes (according to some markings 2:30 or others 2:10). Otherwise, full praise for the markings. We needed peace and unspoiled nature and that's exactly what we got. We parked about 10 m further from the first sign to Nebeška gora, by the bridge, no problems.

Where does the path to Nebeška gora branch off if we go to Kum from Zidani Most or from Radeče? Is there a marked approach from there too?

I'm interested in a hike to Nebeška gora, specifically access from the southern side.

perhaps this very path described here from Zagrad. I hope it's possible to park without issues by the already mentioned bridge (in Zagrad?)...

what about this other path marked with a green line between Jagnjenica and Jurjevca?... is it well visible, maybe even marked all the way to Čimerno?.. it seems it joins higher up with the one from Zagrad...

thanks for info nasmeh

I parked at the bridge over Sopota 9 years ago. There's only space for 1 car. GPS: 46.070156, 15.106945

Thanks Glogo, but no one crosses the bridge there, is it out of order?
