Access to starting point:
First, we drive to the center of Bovec, where we follow the uphill road that passes by the church towards Kaninska vas. We continue along the road, which soon brings us to a junction, where we go straight ahead (the left road descends to the village of Plužna). The road then quickly leads us to the next junction, where we turn right towards Rombon. We drive on to the spot where the road crosses a torrent. Here, near the former parking area and the start of the described trail, there are mountaineering signposts and a spring with a water trough.
Warning about parking: Parking in the immediate vicinity of the trough and in the torrent area in the hamlet of Zavrzelno is no longer possible and is prohibited due to private land and the narrow road. The car must be left lower down, at one of the designated parking lots in Bovec or along the road below Kaninska vas, and one must walk to the trough and signposts, which extends the route.
Route description:
From the former parking lot by the spring, the markers guide us onto the footpath (take care not to start along the cart track), which initially ascends through sparse forest and, about 15 minutes higher, enters dense forest through which it then rises moderately. Further along, the path crosses several old military roads, mainly mule tracks, and after about half an hour's walk from the hamlet of Zavrzelno, it leads us out of the forest onto grassy slopes. We continue across them to the central part of the abandoned Planina Goričica, where a hunting hut stands.

It's not an easy path at all. It's even easier to get to Kanin than up here.

Yes, yes. The path is not that easy. It's not dangerous, but you need to gain 600 m of elevation, somewhere in 2 hours. Well, it's not necessary. You can stop several times along the way. There are really some nice views. On the pasture you can sunbathe. Snack from the backpack. Simply you can really enjoy. They say it's a circular path. I don't know. I would like to know where down, if you go up from Zavrzelno.

From Planina Goricica several paths lead, all run along former and well-preserved mule tracks. One path runs westward for a couple hundred meters almost flat and splits into two branches. One branch continues almost flat all the way to Planina Krnica, the other branch leads downhill and brings us to the road Bovec - station B of Kanin cable car. Somewhat below Planina Goricica a mule track branches off that leads us via the slopes of Cukla to the mountain path Kluze - Rombon. All these paths are in more or less passable condition, but unmarked...

Today I tried to go along the mulatjera Bovec - Postaja B, but a few hundred meters after crossing the Zavrzelno - Goričica path I soon gave up due to collapsing snow and fallen trees. If anyone has a GPS track, I would ask if they could share it with me, because I'm really interested in the course of this mulatjera.

Wait for the snow to melt. The mulatjera route is very easy to follow as it is very visible and excellently preserved except on the slope where it slips.

I remember a few years ago when we went from Zavrzelno through Goričica and to there on a very poorly marked path to Velika Črnelska špica. Now the situation - when it's dry probably even worse. That's why it's better to have such paths that are not crowded drawn on the phone.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions Tolminc, I went on this route yesterday, it's already drawn on the maps and obviously it was once marked in the Path of Peace project, now only stakes remain in places, without plaques. Darinka4, that's also my wish, to be able to go along this mulatjere route and draw it on the map.

Marjan has this path drawn. If you need it, he can forward it to you. From Goričica to Črnelskih. It is very poorly visible.

Hello Has anyone recently gone from Goričica to V. Črnelška Špica? Is the path traceable?

probably not relevant anymore... but today I went from V. Črnelska Špica towards Goričica... the path is fully marked, but in most cases completely overgrown with tall grass, nettles... so you can get there, but it's not much of a pleasure A bit more here: https://ma-uc.blogspot.com/2024/07/velika-crnelska-spica.html
