Zbelovo - Zbelovo castle (circular path)

Access to starting point:
A) We leave the highway at the Tepanje exit (Slovenske Konjice) and through Draža vas, Žiče and Loče we quickly and simply get to Zbelovo. In the settlement there are enough parking spots available, where we park safely.
B) From Poljčane we drive in the direction of Slovenske Konjice, where after a few kilometers of driving we reach the settlement Zbelovo. In the settlement there are enough parking spots available, where we park safely.

Path description:
From the center of the settlement Zbelovo on the asphalt road by the fire station and bakery Boč we go over a bridge on the river Dravinja to the right bank. Practically immediately after crossing the Dravinja the signpost - caption "strma pot" (steep path) points higher on an easy to follow otherwise unmarked footpath. The footpath we easily follow mainly in the embrace of the forest, here and there the path also opens a little. We soon reach the castle, there is a logbook and also a table and benches for rest.
After the entry and a short rest we continue from the area of the castle in the direction towards the west, on a pleasant forest path. After a good hundred meters we reach an asphalt road which leads higher to the homestead below the very top of Zbelovska gora. We continue left downwards by the homestead and two or three holiday cottages or vineyards. The final descent we make in the forested part and soon reach the plain or the point where the beginning of the ascent on the steep path was.
The length of the circular path is around 1100 meters, 150 positive and 150 negative elevation meters.
