With a train we arrive in Zidani Most, or we can use another means of transport (car, bus, motorcycle). .
Path description:
From the railway. From Zidani Most station we go across a bridge over the river Savinja. Then we turn sharply left and proceed along the asphalt road by the river Savinja to the road crossing over the railway track. . Here is a road junction, we continue straight along the asphalt road (definitely not right) for about 500 meters, where we notice a sign for Gašperjeva koča, so we turn right onto the macadam road. We soon reach a ski slope beside which is located the SD log cabin. We continue uphill along the macadam road and soon arrive at Gašperjeva koča. The cottage is open only on Sundays, but during the week we can obtain drinking water. Following the signs, we continue toward Veliko Kozje, and after a few meters we turn left, where the path ascends steeply through a forested slope. We soon reach a vantage point, offering a beautiful view of the Savinja river valley, Zidani Most, and Kum in the distance. We continue along the ridge and a side ridge, and after about 1 hour of walking, we reach a junction where we can turn right toward Radeče, or left, where a marked path soon leads toward Lovrenc and Lisca. Of course, we continue straight uphill toward Veliko Kozje, reaching it after about 20 minutes. The view is truly breathtaking, and from the panoramic spot we proceed straight along the slope, where a marked path leads to Lovrenc and Lisca. We follow this path and, after 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking, arrive at Lovrenc. From Lovrenc, we can already see Lisca in the distance, which is another 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking along a well-marked path with hiking signs. Upon reaching the Sv. Jošt church, we have the choice to head toward Breg via Razbor, or toward Sevnica via Zajčja gora, or continue left to the summit of Lisca. At Lisca, we can obtain food and drink at Tončkov dom, which is closed only on Mondays, then we return in the direction we came. After 250 meters, we can turn left and go via Cirje toward Zajčja gora or Krakovo, and then further to Sevnica, or we can return to the Sv. Jošt church and turn left toward Zajčja gora. I chose this path and returned to Sevnica via it. A very nice tour!.
